The yard is an embarrassing mess at the moment, but it is early March and spring clean up has just begun. I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with several parts of the yard. Here’s the list:
Short Term/This Year:
1. Expand the “Sun” boarder (the area on the right which along with the middle of the yard gets the most sun.)
2. Remove the path to nowhere (the path used to lead to the entry of the shed, but since we move the entry on the new shed the path leads to a wall.)
3. Find area in the “Sun” boarder to grow tomato, pumpkins and watermelons?
4. Remove the straight lines on the left.
5. Create more graceful curves on the right.
Long Term/Not This Year:
6. Remove the asphalt patio and replace with a new better patio
7. Replace timber retaining wall with something made of stone
I plan to use this picture as i map to help me layout the new lines of the boarders and paths, like this.
