Today we had Ellis’ birthday party with his friends, a whole month before his actual birthday. We did this for a number of reasons and I think it worked out well, and now Ellis can look forward to celebrating his actual birthday in another month. We only had 4 boys, but along with our 3 that was more than enough.
It is no secret that I love planning kid parties, but a welcome surprise was how into the planning Ellis was. Making the batmobile lego cars what actually his idea, based on the lego cars the boys made for Jasper’s lego party a few years ago. It turned out to be a great idea. Along with the supersized moon bounce it may have been the best party yet. As you can tell by the last two photos the boys were totally wiped out by the end.
