This year Jasper’s Science Fair Project is studying the propose and effect baking power. We made three batches of muffins, the first with no baking powder, the second with 2 tbsp (as the recipe called for) and the third with 4 tbsp (double the recipe). The results for the muffin with no baking power is obvious, batches 2 and 3 are less pronounced.
