Despite the wet weather we went downtown to see the National Book Festival on the mall. Jasper is beginning to read so figured it would be a good activity to reinforce a love of reading, plus we heard there was free stuff. Although the highlight of the trip for Jasper was getting to see some of the stars of his favorite PBS kids TV shows.

The highlight for Ellis was getting on the Magic School Bus. I think he was excited about this, since he's been going to the bus stop and seeing Jasper getting on the school bus. Hopefully he knows that Jasper’s bus is not nearly as exciting.
Another highlight for Jasper was going to each on the States in the 'Pavilion of the States' to have his map stamped. As you can see Jasper and Jamie went to all 50 states plus, DC, Puerto Rico and American Samoa. In the process they picked up a ton of swag.
Oregan and Arkansas must have lost their stamps :/
