Just south of Hilton Head Island is Daufuskie Island, a small less inhabited Island only access by boat. We took the 45 min ferry ride over this morning and then rented a golf cart to explore the Island. Since island is small and not accessible by car most people on the island use golf carts to get around. We explored the less developed of historic part of the Island, including the scattered historic buildings, cottages and small art galleries. Boys did surprisingly well on the trip despite the heat, and lack of amities.
