We explored the newly opened National Harbor today, located on the Maryland side of the Potomac just south of beltway.
At this point the waterfront is completed but pretty much everything else is still under construction, expect for one sandwich shop, an art gallery, and the huge new Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center.
We also came to see this sculpture The Awakening which was recently moved from Hains Point were it had been for over 27 years.
