Recently I’ve been felling like I need a vacation, some adventure, to see and do something different. The problem is James has just got home from a long work trip, and therefore would like to just be at home. The solution: a mini vacation at home. We’re going to see some of the local sites that we’ve been meaning to check out for a while. First up the new (opened in October) Air Force Memorial, located right here in Arlington.
We arrived near sunset to find the Air Force Band was giving a concert under the memorial. Overall I thought the memorial was nicely done, the three arcs are supposed evoke an image of flight which they do, plus the memorial has gorgeous view to the over the river and the
