Came home today to find my daffodils butchered. I’ve never seen anything like it, most of the blooms and some of the buds have been ripped off and scattered around. Maybe it was a neighborhood cat or squirrels. From a quick google search I learned that animals don't usually bother daffodils, they’re poisonous to them. I just planted these last fall, but I was already disappointed in their lack of impact. I planted 50 I guess I should have planted 150. Just yesterday I was out there cleaning up the bed, picking up leaves and cut back the liriope. Oh well at least it gives me something to blog about!
I stumbled on your blog and don't know you, but I wanted to let you know while the flowers made me sad, the rest of the pictures cheered me up. dustie
