Progress Report: Day Two

The big event of the day, was the moving the hot water heater, from a
spot under the stairs in the left of the picture above, to the other side of the
furnace. This wasn’t originally planned, but it does make a lot since.


This opens up the area under the stairs for storage, and creates a more compact utility area. Unfortunately this required the plumber to be at our house, with the water shut off, until 8:30! Thankfully we had a pitcher of water in the fridge and leftovers that were microwaved for dinner.


Meanwhile the walls are up, we have a pocket door installed, and the ubiquitous construction site big gulp cup.
