Split

This is the Redbud tree planted in the strip between the sidewalk and the street. The large crack occurred last night around 11:30 when the tree was hit by a car. A car that first crashed into Jamie’s car parked in front of our house. I was sad to think we might lose it, but our neighbor across the street, who’s a bit of a tree expert, assures us it should be fine. He has volunteered to drill through the trunk and blot the tree together.
